Superhosts: Taking two months off?

My wife and I are Superhost's and have been since we were eligible almost three years ago.

I get a two month sabbatical every seven years at work and we are currently planning our travel far away from home. Our Airbnb doesn't lend itself to be a rental without us being around to clean and care for our guests.

Do we lose our Superhost status if we close down our Airbnb for two months so that we can go on vacation ourselves? We are thinking from mid-February to mid-April next year. Do we need to meet the requirements for Q1 (Jan-Mar) and Q2 (Apr-Jun) in order to maintain our status?

We are considering having someone host for us while we are gone but want to know what our options are. Has anyone else closed it down for two months and maintained their status?

Lots of us had to close down for two months or more because of Covid restrictions and still kept our SH status. @Gary749

It depends is the answer on your current ratings and how many bookings you have had.

@Helen3 We've got about 118 reviews and a 4.97 rating. Do you mean within the quarter in which we take the two months?
