After a recent book where a booking was made for 3 guests (a couple and another female), the cleaner reported all beds had been slept in (2 queen, 2 singles).
I haven't taken issue with these guests but have now outlined on my rules that if more beds are slept in than guests there will be a an extra charge. when the enquiry came through I specifically asked how many people would staying.
It isn't convienant to lock the bedrooms not booked as I don't live locally but would appreciate somes tips on how to question the guests to gauge their sincerity on the purpose of their visit. These guests in question may also have been undertaking business activities that I am unhappy with but do not have proof other than left behind lingerie. Last time this happened March 2019 we only found out when the cleaner answered to door to a gentlemen asking if he had the right address for a massage. I tried following up with Airbnb but the outcome of their investigations couldn't be revealed to me.
I have heard that these groups move around and never stay too long in one place. Has anyone else had this problem? Both times it has been from visitors overseas.
