Suspicious inquiry

I just received an inquiry from someone who joined Airbnb this month asking me to send my contact information. I replied that I couldn't send it on Airbnb. Has this happened to anyone else? How do I report the person?

Much easier way: report by clicking flag in upper right-hand side of their message.

Profiles also can be reported, which you can also do for good measure. Airbnb won't get back to you in this, but will probably send them a mesage and suspend their account.

Maybe they are just inexperienced and do not understand how things work with airbnb ?

It could be someone new to BnB who doesn't understand how things work or it could be a scam post.

Just explain its against BnB rules to protect both hosts and guests and that they can ask questions or read your listing for the info they need.

If they are genuine, they will come back. If they aren't they won't and you can report them.
