Syncing calendar problem?

Hi, I am curious if you are using the sync calendar system with other sites. I just synced my listings with vrbo and have had my concerns. It shows all my reservations transferred over to each other's site but when I got an instant book from airbnb, I checked vrbo and no block. then I had an instant book from vrbo and checked airbnb, no block. I called and heard there is an up to two hour lag time. This seems risky to me as I could get double booked. Do you guys have instant book on multiple sites?
