I've marked in the amenities section of the listing that there is no TV in the room and no one in nearly 100 bookings has asked for one.
The few who've wanted to watch movies etc. have brought tablets or laptops and use their Netflix or other account when they connect to my WiFi.
I've found that those who plan to watch movies come equiped and those who don't, don't mind that there isn't a TV.
I'd say take out the TV and get the space back, especailly since you've found that it's not being used.
