Hi!
Does anyone know if and how I can temporarily deactive my account or listing? My home will not be available for about a year or more. And I don't want to lose all the reviews that I had!
Thanks
Mike
Hello @Mike844,
I found the article below just by clicking on "Help" on the Airbnb website and typing"deactivate" in the search box where it says "Ask a question or search ...".

Ignore step 2 in each of the cases. Airbnb changed the interface over a year ago and still hasn't bothered to update the help articles. Instead of step 2, scroll to the end of the listing page. You'll then see the "Listing status" section.

Mike, best to follow @Steve143's link and 'unlist' for the time. I say that because you do not know what will happen down the track, all you know is you want to keep your past track record intact.
If you Snooze your listing you remove it from search results, but you don't make it unavailable for booking....it will automatically be available after a pre-determined amount of time....it will be temporary and guests who know your URL will still be able to book for dates in excess of your regular booking window or the end point you have set by snoozing!.
If you 'unlist' your listing it will remain hidden until such time as you decide to re-list. You will not lose your past but you have control over when you go public again.
All the best mate.
Cheers......Rob
