I booked a flat yesterday and received a message from Airbnb Support today saying that my host can't provide this flat anymore due to 'reasons' and that I should expect it to be cancelled within the following 24 hours. The host doesn't reply to any of my messages, even those I sent to her phone number posted on the confirmation page. The booking, however, still remains accepted/not cancelled. I'm still within the 48 hour period of full refund. I also don't want to sit here waiting for 24 hours.
What is the best thing to do in this situation?
In your position, within the 48-hour grace period, I would just cancel the reservation myself.
Thanks for the reply, Lisa! It definitely sounds reasonable. However, the lady from the hotline advised me against doing so and asked to wait until the Airbnb agent resolves the issue since there's already a cancellation in progress.
Cheers!
@Sergey40 If you cancel yourself you are still going to be charged the service fee's you're going to have to call AirBnB to get them back. They are refundable 3 times a year.

Hello Letti! Thanks for the advice. I've called the support and they instructed me to wait until they resolve the issue themselves.
Many thanks!
