Can you get Visit Britain ratings for rooms in shared homes @Jeff158 ?

As far as I'm aware @Helen3 you would be classed as a small B&B and could be rated by visit England with stars or the AA with pennants.

Nerve racking experience with them staying over and nit picking everything.

@Jeff158 @Helen3 you should see what kind of treatment they expect here, it is quite the experience 😄 ( people from the town hall who give permission to host after inspection) They need to be brought to Ohrid from the capital that is 3h away, 8 inspectors, then as soon as they inspected the place they asked for lunch in a fishing village 1 hour away (and since they saw the small boat they wanted to go across the lake and not with a car) of course we did that, they had lunch, and we brought them back in the capital in the evening, bringing each person to their doorsteps and by the way we stopped mid way to a restaurant where they all got food for home which we paid. And of course it costs 100€ per person for them to come. That is pretty much how everything here goes so getting someone just to stay at the apartments and check them out actually sounds pretty good 🙂

LOL @Ana1136  this is even worse then in Croatia 😄 .. or maybe it isn't, maybe we are just lucky to have inspectors in our own town where we host 😛

But yes, the list of requirements is extensive and full of crazy stuff like " the landline phone in the bathroom", toothbrush glass for each guest at the bathroom sink etc...  😄 I don't know when and who came up with all of that but I am sure he never hosted anyone in his life.
