Travel Blogger guest who displayed my property on her blog and on Instagram for her gain, without my

Here's my review of a Travel Blogger guest who displayed my property on her blog and on In st ag ram for her gain, without my knowledge, my consent, not even a link to my listing. Any comments?

"I've been used and I recently found that I'm not alone: I've read reports by other property owners and hosts who have been used by travel bloggers. Here's my alert to other guests. Wendy is yet another travel blogger - a growing tribe of digital nomads who get "sponsors" to support their globetrotting through their social media posts, in the form of endorsements such as paid advertisements, and/or free lodgings in exchange for a mention and a link to said lodgings. These isn't innocent, free sharing of holiday pictures with friends: it's a financial activity. While some travel bloggers act professionally and respectfully, many have unethical, parasitic behavior (and poor writing skills or contents. Anyone can be a blogger these days.) This guest displayed my property on her blog and on in sta gr am for her gain, without my knowledge, my consent, not even a link to my listing. She didn't even give the right location. Staying here as a paying guest in no way includes the use of my property for gain without my knowledge and consent. I only found out about her occupation and the use of my listing for her purposes thanks to her travel companion - a lovely gentleman, by the way. He is her photographer, hence, her accomplice, but he had the decency to tell me that she was a travel blogger and she had posted it on her online (for-profit) outlets and that the post had gotten nearly a thousand "likes". She remained silent, no apology; she obviously never planned to tell me. I tried to disguise my shock and asked her to please send me the link to her posts so I could see them, and to please add the link to my listing in her posts. She did neither. I found her online and her posts of my Tiny House - of course she didn't add my listing link: she's not getting paid by AirBnb!

She joined AirBnb in 2017 but has 0 reviews, and only provided a phone number...hiding her identity to be under the radar as much as possible so she can continue her modus operandi? Two weeks have elapsed since her stay, she could've at least written a nice review..."

@Monica90 we all post photos from nice places, hotels, bars and maybe never tag them. People take photos in front of my house all the time and I have never been tagged. I am sure you take photos in lovely places and don't tag the owners. Blogging is a business and I am sure that she would have tagged you if she got something in return. You can be sure that many many guests have posted photos of your place and you will never know. Is it different with this one because she is a blogger? And nearly a thousand likes is not even that much especially in this era with thousands of bloggers that get hundreds of thousands of likes. You can set up your insta and probably get more likes on your own and there you have free marketing and content you control.

@Monica90 @Ana1136 is 100% right.  Why don't you just go to the Instagram post and put a link in the comments?

I get messages from travel bloggers and Instagrammers asking for free stays in exchange for posting - you're lucky she was a paying guest.

@Monica90

I agree with @Ann72  and @Ana1136 Imo, blogs are sort of like *public* diaries or journals. You should just post a comment with any clarifications you'd like to make as well as a link. .
