Travellers cancelled

My travellers whom were booked for a week starting 7th sept have requested cancel. I recieved a message from airbnb stating they require me to cancel booking and there was a link that took me to cancelling booking so i cancelled it. I have strict cancel policy. Now its saying i cancelled booking when it was my travellers that cancelled and that they will get 100% refund. Im confused. I should be gettn 50% back as they cancelled not me.

No that was a trap. NEVER EVER EVER cancel unless you are willing to take the hit. The guest got YOU to cancel so they didnt lose their fees. Next time ignore and message them that they must cancel themselves. Sorry you got screwed.
