My listing does not appear when I search under the name of my nearest town, but it used to. I live in a hamlet (collection of houses) in a
UK National Park, my nearest town is 8 miles away. Previously I was listed as a property type bed and breakfast and my listing always appeared under the nearest town with property type bed and breakfast, but now that airbnb have made me change my 'type' my listing does not appear.
I checked my address under location and found that the airbnb fields are not suitable for a rural uk address, so I raised this with airbnb and all they did was write my full address in the 'street name' field under location but that has not fixed the fact that I can't be found under my nearest town.
My actual address does not have a street name or house number. My hamlet has one road which is not named as we are known by the name of the hamlet and each house has a name. Airbnb have put my hamlet name as a city name and have entered England as a county name as presumably the people I talk to don't understand how the UK's addresses work.
