Hello, we actually have an host, Edouard HALLE, in our apartment in Sartène but since yesterday the municipality led pipeline works and a pipe broke with the consequence that there has been a lot of leaks of water in the neigborhood appartments including ours (bathing room flooded and electric hot water boiler out of order).
3 questions : will ABNB cover Edouard for this trouble ? will ABNB guaranty us for the consequences of the force majeure event ? What to do with the coming reservations ?
Thanks a lot for your quick answer because we have other reservations to come !

@Vanina23 I don't think Airbnb will cover any of the expenses but you can call them and have them cancel the reservations until the problem is solved, don't cancel yourself.
this event was out of your control, it is extenuating circumstance so you can call Airbnb and tell them to alter/shorten this booking and cancel your next booking without any penalties for you.
Or.
if you are friend with some other host who happen to have an empty unit you can relocate your guests yourself and then you can pay your friend ( this is what I would do)
