Last week I booked a room for one night, payment by Paypal.
However, after that, I received only payment proof from Paypal, no confirmation from Airbnb. The room then was not available, meant that it was booked. But there was no trip, no trace on my Airbnb account for that transaction.
When I contacted Airbnb for help, they asked me to send them the message/payment proof form Paypal. And they asked me if I received that information from somebody. I said that camed from my Paypal account, and it was clear mentioned the invoice number, Airbnb UK...etc.
After some stupid questions, the last message I received from them was
"I just wanted to make sure you received my reply to your email inquiry. I hope all is well!

That is "my reply" of the guy who supports me. If I'm not stupid, the support seems to stop here.
And my demand to clarify the case, to refund me is unsatisfied.
That is Airbnb help.
Pay attention, similar cases can happen to any Airbnb user!
P/S: I has claimed Paypal for this case.
@Tom766 Did you book this through the official airbnb site, or did you find the ad for this listing elsewhere? It sounds like one of those scam Airbnb listings. Can you post the URL for this listing?
I booked on Airbnb.de because I'm at Germany.
