Our Holiday House only listed since January 1st.
We had 5 Stars Ratings in all Catorgories.
After only 11 reviews we were on course to be a Superhost.
74 x 5 star and 3x 4 star.
Then,
A French lady stayed for a week.
We checked she had entered Ok.(Lock box) All appeared fine.
We heard nothing from her for a week.
On servicing our house, it was perfect.
Gave her a glowing review.
Then read her Ratings to us.
1 and 2 Star.
She had no phone, her I pad was playing up. She gave us 1 star for communication....
She could not work the shower. It has a seperate pressure option that we found off.
She said it was broken... 2 Stars for value
She could not draw the curtains. They have a rope chord to pull. You cannot just pull them accross.
Curtains would not close according to her.. 2 stars for Value.
We have 15 complementary Beach towels. She found one with tiny (match head size holes x 5 in one corner. 2 stars for cleanliness
The list goes on...........
We contacted her.
She said sorry. She didnt want to drop our overall ratings....
Air bnb advised to ask her to withdraw her ratings.
We did.
No responce
She does not talk to us now.
Airbnb will do nothing.
"Everything is Fair after Consideration" is there summary.
We have dropped to 4.5 stars for Communiction, Cleanliness and value.
Overall 4.5.
Our Views,Bookings and Revenue have dropped since her ratings..
We will not be a Superhost.
