Unwanted cancellations

Hi,  My name is Sheila.  I'm getting a lot of cancellations from guests who have already booked,  This is teh 3rd one in two weeks!  I know there must be a lot of different reasons..but what is the typical?  Are they finding a better place?  Do I have a terrible reweiw somewhere? What's up?  I've been doing so well..  Thank you,  Sheila  anyone have a similar problem at one time or another

@Sheila122 Airbnb has started refunding guests their service fee, so guests have less “skin in the game” and can change plans more easily. You can change your cancellation policy, which may help.

I don’t have any cancellations but then again I don’t have a flexible cancellation policy. I have a moderate cancellation policy on one listing and a strict cancellation policy on another listing. Your place seems very nice and very cheap actually so I doubt they are finding a better place at a better price. People are just booking knowing they can cancel later. It is too bad because then they might be causing you to lose a reservation for someone who really would follow through.
