Hi, I have three bookings coming up. Two say “upcoming” and one says “confirmed”. Which ones (if any) have paid their balance. I’ve got worried guests that don’t know what’s going on and I don’t want to allow them access to the property if they haven’t paid.
@Alison507 guests pay at the moment of booking and Airbnb releases the money 24h after check in but since you are new it can take up to 30 days. "Upcoming" is when the reservation is in the near future and "Confirmed" is when it is further away but it doesn't matter since they are all valid reservations and already paid for.
The balance is paid about 10 days before arrival, the guest will be notified by e-mail if payment fails.
If payment does fail, the guests will have 24hrs to contact customer service to complete payment with another card, or the booking will be cancelled by airbnb.
Non of my reservations say upcoming, even todays arrivals just say confirmed.

@Jeff158 it says "Upcoming" when you open the chat in the app, when you open the reservation itself it says "Confirmed". If some of them have decided to do a partial payment she has no way of knowing and whether it says upcoming or confirmed that is in no way indication of the payment status.
