Using Scheduled Check-Out Messages

We have set up scheduled messages for our listing, but not all of them are working.  Our message for the day before check-in works perfectly, but the others have been an issue.  We have messages that should go out at the time of booking confirmation and at 4:00 pm the afternoon before the guests check out, but neither of them go out as scheduled.  Has anyone else seen this issue, and do you have any suggestions on how to fix it?

...and I just figured out what was causing the issue, but I'll post the solution in case anyone else is having the same problem.  Each message you create has to be manually assigned to the listing under the Listing drop-down.  In the list of messages you've created, if number under the "Listings" column is a zero, it isn't yet attached to anything.
