Value added Services

One area we struggle with as a professional operator of several Airbnbs is how to convey the service component a guest can expect when staying at a property and i wondered if others experience the same or have any ideas.

 

Yes we charge a bit more but we offer a cleaning service twice a week and bedding and laundry change which seems to be met with surprise - anecodally we had to haul a guest out of a laundry who felt obligated to do their bedding laundry themselves and expressed suprise this was in the price

 

there does not seem to be a star rating to convey this and it is difficult to incorporate in our description without sounding pompous with respect to a service we believe from  our perspecitve should be a base case part of the offer

 

any sign of Airbnb introducing a feature to rate or evaluate this or anyone got any tips how they convey this to prospective guests without coming across as arrogant or making a big deal out of a service we view should be part of the package?

 

Clearly the biggest part of the fixed operating cost is the turnaround and laundry but there does not seem to be a way for guests to see whether this is part of the deal or whether they are expected to bring their own shampoo and towels and get on with it themselves?
