Watering garden

Hi,

im renting out my home for a week but am worried my plants might die if they dont get watered. What are people’s thoughts on asking the guests to turn on a sprinkler once or twice to save my roses?

@Matthew1033  I don't think you can depend on guests to do something like that, even if they say they will. Do you have a neighbor you could ask to do it?  I don't know how many plants you have that need to be watered, but alternatively you could get a timer which you can program to go on at certain times of the day. Or if there aren't that many plants, a low tech solution is to fill a half litre pop bottle, or something similar, with water and jam it into the soil upside down. The water will drain out slowly and keep your plants okay for a week. Putting some hay or straw mulch around them will keep it from drying out.
