We received a Pre Approve/Decline message for a listing we didn't create!

We clicked on the listing and it lists my wife as the owner of the property.  We aren't and we didn't create the listing.  We neither understand how it could have happened, or why AirBnB doesn't seem to have any direct contact information.  It seems incredibly unprofessional to have to go to the community for support.  We are worried that the account could have been hacked, but what purpose could hacking an account to create a fake listing have since all the approval messages still have to be sent to us.  What should we do?

The easiest and quickest way to get answers to any issues is through contacting Airbnb's Community Experts. If they cannot answer your question, they have the ability to re-route you to Airbnb

 

Step 1: Visit https://www.airbnb.ca/help/contact_us

Step 2: From the bottom of the screen, choose either "My question is about something else" or "I have a different issue"

Step 3: Follow the prompts to figure out what best describes your issues. Some things you choose will take you to specific information whereas others you can fill in the text box and submit your question.
