What I am doing different?

Hi,

I have had 2 reserves in  my house.

My guests told me they were really satisfied with the service and left me very good feedback.

But nobody makes another reservation to me.

am I doing something wrong?

Hello @Orquídea0. I guess it's low season now. You've got good prices, IB on. Try maybe to change something in your listing every day - might help.

January is not low season in the Dominican Republic. It is high season- guests from northern climes escaping the cold.

But the economy is not not necessarily good right now or people are wary of how it will turn- I am in Mexico, and I notice I have a bit less bookings than last year at this time (5 star Superhost, all good reviews so far) and more last minute bookings and cancellations and expired requests.

@Orquídea0 I had friend from Jalisco Mexico, she had a “Sancho”.

A “Sancho” is a man on the side that picks up the slack(wink wink).

When your main guy is lacking, get a Sancho, he will keep you nice and booked.

Maybe I misunderstood your message but I don't want a “Sancho”, I want guests, people who pay me for being in my house, not for something else.
