What if the guest is a diifferent name and ID

The profile had an emoji, the name was Aaron but the guest's name is Arthur on his ID? He said his sister made a profile for him, he is a traveling nurse and she just put that name, I doubt if he has provided the correct ID /Credit card to Airbnb

Very suspicious. Maybe 3rd party booking? Be careful. Decline if possible without penalties.

I recently had a request to book from a person with excellent reviews but no identity verification, which I assume is why he was unable to Instant Book.  I asked him to complete that step and it turned out he had two profiles - one linked to a work email address. So that could be a possibility.  But honestly I don't have any faith that Airbnb is actually checking IDs...I've had multiple guests that do not accurately represent their names in their profile and when I contacted support about one in particular that was clearly a bogus name, support told me "it matches his ID".  Completely untrue.
