What were the recent changes to AirBnB hosting?

Recently Airbnb took down pictures of guest, I cannot see the guest until after I have accepted them. This is very disturbing to me. I had a guest come in late at night so I didn't see her, but when I did, she was not the person on her Airbnb profile. I had to tell her to leave my property because she was a prostitute, and was seeing men in my apartment. There is more to the story that I won't go into, but the point is, my home is making money for Airbnb, and Airbnb does not seem to care about the Host and our personal property, our rights, or our safety. I will not accept a guest when Airbnb took down their picture for their privacy, their staying in my home, and I need to see a picture before I accept. The guest can see my picture, what about my privacy?

Sorry your post doesn't quite make sense.

Even if you had a photo BEFORE the booking was confirmed, this wouldn't have made any difference, because you don't check guests in personally.

This isn't down to Airbnb but your own personal preference for how you run your listing.

What efforts do you make to vet your guests? Do you only take those with photo ID and a completed profile? Do you talk to them in advance of arrival to find out why they chose your place, plans for their stay etc.?

If you aren't happy with how Airbnb works, do look for other platforms that provide you with guest photos before they book.
