Recently me and my 11 year old son stayed in Berlin.
Since my reservation was canceled two days before the trip, I hurried to make the new booking with the host.
Before the next booking, I've read the description and most of the reviews which gave me an understanding that a single studio apartment will be ours throughout the whole trip. However, I was surprised to find out that the host is staying in the same room after the arrival to the place. I went back online and read the listing description again and realized that the host is right, it's written that he is staying together. However, all of the reviews posted below were talking about his co-host that was letting the travelers in and the host was not staying with them. I've got confused and thought that it's either me not reading the full description, or it is the host that changed the description of the listing after I made a booking, cause I was not that desperate and would have preferred to rent an individual room all for ourselves.
can you advise me if airbnb can check whether the listing has been edited after I made a reservation so that I can expect a compensation for inaccuracy?
