Does anyone notice this or is just me? To be honest i had a bad review on September which i want it to go below. Is not that bad i do think that i really affect my this month booking. Please help if there is a way to bring my OCT review back to the top of hosting page.
Likewise, I had a bad review from someone who booked last minute in a village, but wanted me to subsidise them to eat out in the city (Granada), which of course I refused. My bookings were down for months afterwards. It would appear that any guest can say anything and you have no opportunity to censor their false claims.
I am ok with review is just that how could it still stay on top after a few weeks where all my recent review stay below.
@Daryl24 Reviews post in this order. The reviews from the guests country appear first in my case it would be the US, then the hosts country where the rental is listed, then all the others with the exception of those written in another lauguage being placed last.
Ohhh, that surely explain everything now. No wonder all my latest review was at the back.
Thank you so much. At least i know is not some kind of bug or something.
I read the reviews which were in English, all seem really good. From where I search, the Singapore reviews come first.
@Sandra126 That is strange when I looked the US reviews appeared first then the Signapore ones, the all the others with the foreign ones last.
@Letti0, I guess Singapore is closer to Australia?
I also thought the reviews were sorted in order of use, such as a family will see family reviews, work will see work reviews. But I really can't substantiate this.
@Sandra126 They are. It's the general reviews he's talking about. All my family reviews show up first when they are looking at the family collection, but not the general ones.
So in the other words, the review arrangement is not exactly as it was if view by different country people or in some kind of relationship? This is totally new, glad that i open this conversation 🙂
Exactly. The aim is to have people read the reviews by guests who are similar to them. However, it fails on that a host might have had a bad review, fixed everything on it, and then it still sits on the top page for certain readers. I prefer a chronological sorting. Or at least an option to sort chronologically. But this is the way things are now. I have a review I am the most pleased with but it will never be read, the minute it was written it disappeared to the last page... I extremely rarely if ever have guests from that country.
Well, looking at the reviews from here in Mexico, I see the Singapore ones first, then Indonesia and Malaysia mixed in no particular order, then others.
