Hello,
I have been hosting for about three months, and I have one listing for my entire home which should, in theory, be eligible for the family collection.
I understand that I will need two reviews from families, and five five star reviews to be considered, and I know I do not have these yet. However, I would expect to see this under opportunities, along with the Work Collection, Super Host and Experience Host, which all currently appear.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as families appear to be our primary guests for our two bedroom flat in Greater London.
Thank you!
Anna (London, UK)

The same thing happened to me when I first started hosting, especially when on mobile. Sometimes I would see the opportunity, and other times it wouldn't be there at all.
It did get automatically added when I received the necessary bookings & reviews, so I wouldn't worry too much about it! The only frustrating thing was that some guests who'd brought their children hadn't actually included their kids ages in the reso, so the booking didn't reflect a 'family' reservation. AirBNB would not count these reservations as family bookings after the fact, either. In any case, I received the designation after a short time. Good luck!
Hi @Anna2444
I would assume you automatically get this, once you meet Airbnb's criteria, but if you are concerned about this, why not give Airbnb a call and they should be able to clarify for you.
Thank you @Helen3, I will contact them! I was just wondering if anyone else has had this experience, and if the opportunity showed up in their dashboard at a certain point. Or if they are just automatically added to the collection, without it ever appearing as an "Opportunity".
So what phone number do you have for Airbnb? I can't seem to find any phone number and have to dig for an e-mail address?
I am not sure where to add it as part of my community profile, but I know it shows up to my guests!

Thank you @Danielle476, this is great to know! I will be patient and hope for it to appear in the not-too-distant future! 🙂
Good luck! I patiently waited and once the elusive review came in (like others, people booked me and didn't list that they had kids), it was still greyed out. My one property has had this badge for months, and even when it didn't, it showed that I was eligible. This one, identical in amenities, square footage, rules, etc says it's not eligible. On the phone with ABB right now, and they're stumped.
After working towards becoming part of the FAMILY COLLECTION I was told last week by an Airbnb support rep that the Family Collection is going away!
I just noticed today that it's gone, and searched the forums to find out why. Did they mention their rationale for this? It really did bring in quite a few guests for me.
