Why not instant booking with some guests?

I define the option that AirBnb recommended.
But I lost two guests because they could not make "instant booking" . One of them had 4 good reviews from other hosts.
Why some guest could do instant booking an others no?
Any ideas?

If they have not completely verified themselves or is booking for a third party.
And it's also to protect hosts.
If they were not able to book, there might have been an issue.
And check to see what your qualifier is for guest being able to book instantly..
You can also make those changes on your page...

I don't understand why having to make an inquiry on specific dates or request to book is a dealbreaker for some guests.

I had a an inquiry yesterday if my nightly price was for their entire proposed stay. Thank God for Instant Booking is on to filter out potential ignorant hazards.

Find your personal comfort zone, I say.

If Airbnb blocks someone from booking, be glad you're going through them and not winging it on other sites.
