We have had the worst customer service experience with AirB&B. We booked a Verified listing 10 days prior to trip and it was confirmed. We showed up to our listing on the reservation date and were told that the property was not an AirB&B property by the person that answered the door. We reached out to the host, who let us know that this listing was not meant to be active and that she had requested that AirB&B remove the listing over 5 months ago.
We tried to call AirB&B support several times while on property, but no one answered after over an hour wait each time. We tried contacting them via Support messenger, and also received no response.
We have since tried to reach customer service via phone and messenger over the last 10 days and have received no response. I finally reached someone on Monday of this week and she let me know an urgent support ticket was opened and that a resolution manager would reach out to us ASAP. It has now been 5 days and we have received no contact.
We have disputed this charge via my credit card as we have not been able to resolve this manner directly with AirB&B. This morning we received a threatening email that our future reservations might be canceled because we are disputing a charge and have not contacted Customer Support. Are you kidding me??? What is going on with AirB&B?!?
