Young and new to airbnb

I’ve had lots of problems with guests new to airbnb and young, when I see a young person and new to the app , I am very doubtful, I have approved them but lately in just a couple of months, younger hosts have left my house, very dirty , broken things at first they communicate with you but on their last day they just don’t respond to messages, I think airbnb should do a better screening process or something but I am very disappointed because airbnb encourages you to accept new guests but when they are young I don’t know, what do you recommend? I need some help, thank you

we hosted a lot of young first timers and they were great. We also hosted a few families and elderly couples they were our worst guests . But I suppose your location is crucial for the type of guests you get.

You can set your booking requirements so only guests recommended by other hosts can book instantly and all the others have to send you a booking request.

Hi Victor,

Indeed, as Branka & Silvia mentioned, if you have Instant Book activated, you can set that only guests with positive reviews from former hosts will be accepted.

If you do not want to do this, you can ask the guests additional questions about them. If they do not respond to your questions, or you are not comfortable with the answers, you may cancel the reservation penalty free so your superhost status will not be affected (Use the reason "I am not comfortable with my guest".). In that case, you better call Airbnb for a second opinion and assistance with the cancellation.

I will do that Ton , I will look for that option ,thank you
