adding guest charge after booking has been made

How do I add an extra guest charge after a booking has already been made?

A potential guest may want to add a 3rd adult.

However he says he won't know until mid late December but wants to make the booking now for 2.

We do not have extra guest charge on profile because we normally restrict rentals to couples.

Can a rental  fee be changed at a later date?

@Ali62 I am not sure if I understood the situation correctly, but...

if your room is for 2 people max and you have "extra people no charge" setting then guest is not able to book for more than 2 people.

but if you agree to take 3rd guest in the same room (you will add another bed) then you can send him special offer with higher price for 3rd guest. If he doesn't want to accept it then he can not bring 3rd guest and you will not add another bed in a room
