I am seeking advise from the community at large to deal with an irrational and probably just a dishonest guest who has from the first insteance she walked in my place, taken staged pictures to justify what she calls the messiness of my apt. I have never had such complaints before. What scares me is the fact that I am traveling and the guest is staying with my teenage daughter at home.
She had immediately contacted me to discuss the "issue". She claimed my dog was huge and her heart was pounding because my dog wouldn't leave her alone. In fact, my dog is adored by everyone and is an extremely gentle soul. Before we had even started the negotiation, she wrote an outrageous complaints and put forward false claims about my dog to Airbnb. She told them she dirty and there was a prevalence of bad smell in the apt. Mira had a bath a week before this woman arrives to my place and we always wipe her feet as soon as she comes back from her walks. In fact, most of my neighbors and people on the street cannot take their hands off of my dog from the feel of silkiness and smoothness of her coat.
She took close-up pictures of hanging frames and candle stick in the kitchen, picture frames, encens and another glass candle stick on the sideboard in the dining room, the same picture I used to advertise my apt. A close-up and what seems to be a zooming picture of a very small paper bin I leave under a desk at people's disposal which she moved to the door, making it look as if it were a huge street trash bin in the middle of a room. What is disconcerting is the fact that Airbnb case managers fell for it and sent me the pictures as supporting argument of her false claims. Airbnb wronged me. The woman is still in my apt. doesn't want to leave even though I had invited her to do so. She walks around with her shoes, against my house Rules. She was asked by my daughter to remove her shoes and she refused. She complained that there's no central heating. I live in Malta and there's no central heating in Malta, nowhere on the island. She told Airbnb it was very cold while she us keeping 2 radiators in a very small, warm room, refusing to release the other one which should be used in a different room, a bigger one and a colder one. I am not sure what to do. I have asked (I believe I sent tons of emails begging Airbnb to remove her from my premises, instead, they said that since the advertising was faulty, she would get 30% off the nights she uses. She intends to stay a full week even though this problem started from day one and I had asked her to leave if she was that unhappy. Please help. I don't know what to do but I know that Airbnb wronged me and I would like to seek compensation for the sleepness nights and my disturbed travel. Is there a way to contact the people in charge instead of case managers? I still haven't been paid at all and the woman has been in my apt. since the 5th of Januray and intends to be there, who know how long. What do I need to do to get to the right people to remove her from my premises?
