Damage claim without security deposit

Dear all, I have damages in my apartment after renting it out (via Airbnb and for the very first time). I did not charge a security deposit. Can I get money from the person who rented my apartment? What should I do? Any help is much appreciated. Peter

cancellations

My cancellation policy is strict. Which means guest is charged 50% because she cancelled. I'd like to give her a break and have the penalty be like 20%. How can I do that? It's for a high season, so I'm pretty sure I will be able to rent.
