*) holds sensitive data, which should not be part of an ical

my issue: People don't want to send me their ical files to syncronize on my website because of this

my question: Is there a way to receive an Ical file without the sensitive data *), or at least without the DESCRIPTION part of it?

@Lindathe tecnical part is just to show, how the problem is caused. I'm still having the issue Hosts don't want to send me their ical files to syncronize on my website because of the sensitive content. Thanks anyway for the link, I'll be in touch with them, right now

@Herwig0, I am familiar with issues related to data conversions (import / export / normalizing, etc).

What is it that you are trying to accomplish (big picture).

Why do people need to send you their iCal exports, and what is the website that you need to synchronize them to?

" I have to inform you that currently there is no way to edit the details of an Ical file."

@Herwig0, I thought for channel manager services, you would access the official AirBnB API instead of having hosts send you their calendar exports.

Hello @Matthew0 We are syncing from our site using WP simple calendar premium. We can book ....all works fine but if we cancel dates they do not cancel on Airbnb or Homeaway. If we manually make dates available again on Airbnb after an hour or so they become blocked again. Our calender remains available. The seems to be no setting that covers this.

Has anyone figured out how to sync the Airbnb calendar with the calendar app on an iPhone? I have tried on and off and nothing seems to work. Thanks.
