cancellation refund to a different credit card

My expected guest coming in August is going to cancel but she said her credit card got stolen, so she doesn't want the credit to go to the card she no longer has.  How do we do this?  (Neither of us have cancelled it yet, because we're not sure how to do it).

Be careful if you cancel there are penalties she has to deal with ABB

Airbnb customer service as you may have experienced is very unresponsive. Any penalties as you are concerned about should intrigue a class action law firm. You can also complain to your state, county, or city local representatives. Sounds like a credit card terms violation.

Your guest will have to change her card details in her airbnb profile.

Sadly, Airbnb is notoriously awful with customer service. In some situations it rises to a public safety concern which will probably only be resolved through a personal injury liability law settlement or in ecconimic neglect thorough a class action. They are ripe for a competitor to enter the market as they have grown lethargic and complacent. Good luck in meantime.

This is easy 

 

First, it's not your problem - she has to cancel and contact AirBnB with an alternative, or enter it online. 

 

It's up to her...don't get involved..you will go crazy trying to sort this one out.

It looks like no one has an answer here... I am dealing with the same thing.  The guest updated thier CC details on their account but it wasn't the same one they booked with and AirBnB is stating they are going to credit the original one they booked with which they no longer have.

Only airbnb can solve technical issues.  You should ask your guests to contact airbnb.

I have the same problem. I had to cancell my reservation, but the Credit Card that I used to pay is cancelled now because an unrecognized charge was made. What can I do in order to receive my money back? 

I am the guest. And I do not have any phone or mail to contact Airbnb

Only the card is cancelled and not the account, phone your credit card provider and they can sort it out

Hi. I made the cancellation on the 16th of December, and few minutes ago the refund was made. As you said the account is not cancelled. Thanks to everyone and hope this helps somebody else with the same issue. Regards

The card I used for my reservation is closed now, how can I cancel my reservation and be refunded on a different card?

How did you do that?

Please help quickly as I have 2 hours to cancel my reservation and ABB is not even picking up the phone.
