cancellation refund to be paid to new visa card as old one expired

Hi

I made a booking and it was cancelled by the host a few months later. The VISA card I paid with has since expired. How do I get a refund to my new account?

Hello @Joshua119. You need to update the card in your payment details. Then Airbnb will transfer money via the new one.

Would I need to make a specific request to Airbnb to do this?

1. I have added a new payment method (new credit card)

2. I am not able to cancel the old card on AirBnB as it specifies that it is linked to an existing booking (the one booking was canceled by the host, the 2nd booking remains)

3. I received an email from AirBnB on wednesday notifying me that the refubnd was being processed to my old (expired) credit card.
