I have just joined airbnb and someone made a booking. I received a txt say the booking was confirmed and that was the first I knew about it. I then received a txt from the guest saying thanks for letting her bring her DOG?? My listing says no pets. So she said to cancel her booking, but now it wont let me relist the booking and it is prime holiday season? This seems not fair??
Unfortunately you made a huge mistake that many new hosts do which is cancelling for the guest when it was them that should be the one cancelling.
Please read up on the penalties when a host cancels (https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/990) and then click on the Contact Airbnb link below and I am sure they will remove the block and other penalties you probably have not noticed.
