We booked a place to stay through AirBnb at Mediterranean@Ximending on 6 May 2017 for the span of 1 week from 30 December to 6 January. We were shocked to learned that our booking was canceled and fully refunded on 27 November 2017. We appreciate the full refund but what we do not appreciate is the reason for canceling our accomodation without informing us in the first place! Now we are hastily looking for place to stay as we have to change our itenery due to this issue. Furthermore, there was no reason given to me as to why the booking was cancel. This is one experience is which i will remember from booking through AirBnb. Until today no one has given any answer to me. Very disappointing.....

Sorry to hear that, @Bobby34. Do you happen to see in the system who cancelled the booking - the host or Airbnb? Just like guests, hosts may cancel but they get punished for that, so if it was the host who cancelled there must have been a reason for that.
