cancelling

I booked 2 months ago now my host says she got her pricing wrong, She has more than doubled the price,

I told her i could not afford this so she reduced it a little and said if you cannot afford this she would cancel.

I told her i still cannot afford this so she told me to cancel, If i cancel i have to pay the fees.

Is there any way we can solve this or do i have to pay the fees.

Sorry to hear you have been treated this way. Please don't cancel. You will not have to pay the fees. She will. That's why she wants you to cancel.

Your host has made a mistake you shouldn't be penalised for it.

Contact BnB straight away through their customer service number  and explain what has happened, The number is on your booking confirmation.

They should help to find you an alternative. They will be able to see by the messages between you and the host that she wants to double the price, then asked you to cancel.

Good luck

Contact Airbnb conflict resolution center. And explain the situation. The person should of gave you the original price. That is the hosts mistake and not your own. Hope this helps.

What @Helen0 said,
You found the low price, you booked and you paid.
It's the host's error (and this is mainly a hosts' forum)
If you need to contact Airbnb try this telephone, it's suggested by an experienced user https://gethuman.com/phone-number/AirBnB

Harry

You have already booked and paid, so you are entitled to stay there.  The host could send you a change request, but you don't have to accept.  If the host doesn't want you to stay at the price you have already paid, then she needs to cancel, and she will be penalised and won't be able to rent out those days to others.
