change bank account information

I am now hosting and want to recieve payment to a bank account that has no0t been set up or needs changed.

@Jill29 I'm a little confused about what you are trying to do.  Do you want to create a new payout preference to replace an old one or do you want to add a payout preference keeping the original one in place?  More details, please!

I have one bank account listed for payment of moneys.  Now I want to close that account.  I have listed the new bank, number, routing number and it is ok.  But I do not know how to delete the first bank account from the listing.  We are closing that account, thus need to use the new bank and number

@Annie43 first add the new payout account.  Once Airbnb has verified it by sending a 1 cent deposit, you can delete the old payout accout. This might take a few business days.

Hi I have changed my bank account details but i am having so much trouble finding out how to actually change it in Air bnb

I get as far as "add another account" but it comes back with only one option to add a credit card. I would like to change the bank account not add a bank card?

can anyone help please

@Suzanne50 Got your message by email before I saw this post.  If you click on Payment Method, yes, it will ask you for a bank card since this is the account you use to pay for reservations you make when travelling.  If you want to change the account you want to receive your hosting payments into, click on Payout Preferences.  I know it's confusing.  🙂

@Susan366 Payout preferences is under your Account Settings which is under your Profile.  If you are changing banks, set up the new payout account and when it says "Ready" you can set it as the default.  Note that payouts for reservations starting after your new account has been verified will go to the new account.  Payouts for reservations that begin before the new account has been verified will go to the old account so you don't want to close it until after the new account has been set up and verified.
