changing a long term reservation

I book a home for two months and now I want to change this to one month.

The check in  date 1st May and the check out 30th June.  Can I change the check out to 31th May?

This can happen automatically  or I must contact the host?

yes, you can change a confirmed reservation:

But you need to be aware of the "long term policy" which applies.

Also the host must acknowledge the change before it is in effect.

@Olga-Aggeliki0 Go to your reservation and select change/cancel.  Put in the new dates and send the request.  It will be processed according to the cancellation policy for long term rentals.  You might want to also send a message to the host as to your reasons for changing but it is not required.
