check out date change

Guest had booked Memorial Day weekend  then changed a few days before, then changed those dates again. How do I charge a cancellation / change fee?

Is a last minute change fee acceptable ?

I'm annoyed because I lost bookings for that period.

A change is not a cancellation. If the guests cancels, the applied cancellation policy calculates a refund (if any). If the guest want to change, it is up to you if you want to accept it. If you want to accept, but think some extra money should be charged: inform the guest about it, if agreed make the change and besides changing the dates also change the calculated price manually (click in the price field and change amount)

Offcourse the guest still has to confirm the change.
