client quoted wrong price

how do i adjust the price Airbnb is charging. its supposed to be $107 a nite. now they r charging $180 a nite.

client asked for a reservation. i accepted at the $107 rate. well I didn't do it correctly or fast enough. so Airbnb canceled the deal.  so client went back in and requested same reservation again. now its $180 a nite. Not right.

so no one tospeak to from airbnb & can't see how to change this to correct price of $107.

I could refund him back the money, but then airbnb will 1099 me for whole amount.

any suggestions?

If you Accepted the higher priced rez already, you can do a 'Change or Cancel' to correct the price. If you did not, you can go into your calendar and reset the price. Also, check to see if you have 'Smart Pricing' turned on.

Dont worry - it does happen - and no problem with sending the guest a 'special offer' to reflect the reduced price - or if that won't work - then go ahead and refund the correct amount on the reservation page. You will not be 'taxed' on the higher amount and the totals gets balanced out in the monthly summaries by Airbnb - so plenty of time. It may look strange at first, because if you have a cleaning fee - what Airbnb do is to get rid of the cleaning fee first - and leave you with a new room only price - but it all adds up to the agreed amount.

Just send a nice note to your guest saying you have worked it all out within the system and their refund is on its way.

Best Wishes.
