does anyone know how to contact airbnb in australia or how I remedy account details with them as they are emailing me saying I havent updated my accoutn and its "Time to get paid".   Ive removed and reapplied my account details...   the email keeps coming.

I understand it must be frustrating if you can't find the contact details for Airbnb. In case you haven't seen my post above, have a look at Contact Airbnb: A Community Help Guide - it explains how to contact Airbnb via Facebook or Twitter and has a list of phone numbers.

First time using Airbnb last night.  The money was taken immediately from my account BEFORE the host confirmed, which I was shocked about.  The host is now saying they advertised the price wrong and no money has been taken. £699.00.  Have I been scammed :0(  

I can not find a contact for air bnb - so angry!

@Clare474 The host is wrong. Airbnb rightly take the money so that there is a definite booking immediately the host accepts the booking. Sadly this host is clearly being greedy or incompetent in not keeping their prices up to date.

You can call Airbnb on 02033181111. If you don't get any joy in the next few days contact your bank for a chargeback.
