Is there some way to attach a word.docx to my AirBnB e-mails? I have a cabin manual that is a Word docx. that I like guests to have for cabin information.
You can sent it via regular email (as attachment) to the guests temporary Airbnb email address (or to their private email if they supplied one). I suggest to create a pdf-file from the Word document.
You can also uload to file to private or public place on the Internet. Then you only have to supply the link to guest (so the Airbnb message system can be used).
Best regards,
Emiel
@E--Selden0 Not directly. Airbnb allows only .jpg attachments in their direct messaging system. If you email to the encrypted address unfortunately it often lands in spam folders. Sending a link to a public web posting (e.g. Google Drive) as @Emiel1 suggests is probably the best bet.
Thank you Lisa. I think it best to find that ulink that Emiel suggested. Very helpful
When I email the map attachment I send to all my guests, using the coded email address Airbnb assigns, I use the Airbnb messaging to let them know I will be doing this, then message them again after I've done it and ask them to please confirm that they received it. I always advise them to check their Spam box if they don't see it in their Inbox.
The problem is, about half the time the guests report that while the email is there, no attachment came through. Others receive it just fine. This seems to be some random bug with the Airbnb software, I guess. When the guest doesn't get the attachment, I ask for their personal email address and send it like that, and of course, that always works.
