extenuating circumstances

extenuating circumstances

Hi - One of my reservations needed to be cancelled because I was rushed to hospital with a brain aneurysm...........the guest was fully OK with the situation as can be seen by the email thread. Luckily I am ok and have had several new guests - I was super host status before the incident - my commitment rate has been downgraded - I am 100% committed - and believe this cancellation should be considered under extenuating circumstances and my commitment rate changed to 100% as this is affection my superhost status. I cannot find how to contact AIRBNB?

Cheers

Gina

If you go to the search bar on the community center here and type in "how to contact Airbnb" there are probably 300 post giving that answer.
The search bar was very helpful to me when I became a new host and still is.
Try that ok. There are many posts submitted by expert hosts on phone numbers for ABB.
Calling them will definitely help you.
Also if you go to your ABB account and click on help, it gives you the opportunity to email ABB.
I have NEVER had a problem reaching ABB for any reasons - I think a lot of hosts don't spend time going through their Acct to see how much they can do. Try that.. It's been a useful tool for me. And I don't mean your listing.. Your actual Airbnb account. There are so many helpful tabs and links.
Glad you are better!! That was a scary medical you went through. Take care
If you feel that me or another host have helped you, feel free to click on the "thumbs up" button at the end of any post. Thank you so much.

Easiest solution? Type "extenuating circumstances" into the Help query option, and follow the links until you get to the page where you can submit your complaint. Be prepared to provide medical evidence. I'm glad you're okay, most importantly!
