I just had my first guest and first review (and it's untrue). He wrote “Host tried to charge me an extra $10 for a garage that couldn’t fit my GLE AMG”. I had to google GLE AMG and turns out it's a Mercedes. To my defense, I don't have a garage on my property and the only discussion we had regarding a car was as follows:
Guest: Is there parking
Me: Just street parking, my tenants upstairs use the driveway
It is clearly indicated in my house rules that the tenants use the driveway and that only free street parking is available. I just messaged the guest and asked him what his review was about, his response "wrong person sorry". I asked him to change the review.. I'm not sure that he can or is willing.
My question is - how do I respond to this review without impacting future guests? I'm brand new to this. Side note: I left him a good review despite my tenants complaining about him turning the heat to an excessive 90 degrees in October (still warm out) and the smell of MJ upstairs in their apartment.
