getting bookings on iPhone.

i can not respond to booking requests on my iphone. the error message says my phone number is on too many accounts. i only have one account. by the time i get back to my computer i have lost the booking.

i unlisted the first account i had.

Hi @Donna72 The messages that come through on your phone iMessage system can't be responded to - you have to use Airbnb messaging - go through the Airbnb app. on your phone or the Airbnb website on a desktop computer. You'll notice the numbers on your phone show up with area codes that don't align with the state or province or country the guest lives in - they are randomly assigned from a list of phone numbers airbnb uses. It's not that you have too many accounts, it's because Airbnb does.

When the guest books, you will be able to see their cellphone number and I guarantee it is never the same as the number shown on your phone imessage.

Always respond to a guest using Airbnb's messaging system - not only are you sure to reach the guest, but there is a record of everything that has been said & transpired, should problems arise down the line. I hope that helps! - Karen
