@Malla0 everything is auto-saved, you'll see a green 'saving...' in the upper right corner when you make any changes. I've enver had this problem, but I would suggest the old restart your computer trick and see if that fixes your issue. Could be an issue with your internet's cache records.

Yeah, thanks i figured it out now 😄

The auto save doesn't work; and after I spent 15 minutes fixing my pricing, I went to check and NOTHING WAS SAVED!!!!  So frustrating!  I'm ready to cancel this listing with Airbnb!

@Jill51 That is very frusterating! Unfortunately, I've experienced this more than once 😞 The good news is, I know what the issue is. Sometimes Airbnb lets you play around in the settings while you're actually logged out. You don't know this until 15 minutes later when nothing is saved. Log out and log back in, then adjust your settings and everything will be fine.

Thanks, Daniel, but that wasn't the problem, either!  It is just too dang hard to do what you want to do!  Why not just put a "save" button on the bottom of the page, so you know that when you're done, after spending, oh, about an hour going through everything, that your work will be SAVED!  Maybe somebody from Airbnb will see this and FIX it!

@Jill51 Hmm, very odd. I would happy to take a look at your listing, but you'll have to send your credentials. I'll let you know when I'm done so you can change the password. Otherwise, I don't know what could possibly be the issue...maybe try a different browser? I use Chrome and Safari and rarely have problems.

Hey, Daniel,

Yeah, I'm using Chrome.  I'm trying to set the long-term discount percentage on specific months.  But, I guess it doesn't like that.  Although it says that I can make my prices be whatever I want for whatever months I want.  It keeps changing the percentage to, for example, 41% discount for summertime (I'm in fort myers beach, fl) to 41% for the entire year!  Although I'm already booked for the winter months with folks outside Airbnb, I don't want people to think I charge that high price for a month in the summertime.  When you get on to fall, my percentage discount would be lower, say 14%, for the month.  See what I'm trying to do?  Maybe you really can't be so specific in your pricing??

Jill

@Jill51 Interesting. I do think you're getting too specific. Airbnb is pretty limited with their pricing and calendar functionality, actually. It's pretty disappointing. For example, why can I charge 25% extra to someone who wants to only book 1 night when my normal minimum is 2 nights? Or, why can't I book a single night open in between two reservations when my minmum is 2 nights, or 2 nights in between reservations when my minimum is 3 nights?

Anyways, this will be bit random, but I wonder if you'll review my website? It's extremely related to Airbnb. I just put it up last week so visually it won't be perfect, but I'm curious if you have some time, if you can poke around, read some things, let me know what doesn't make sense, etc. If not, no worries.

I'd be happy to, Daniel.  How do I get there?

@Jill51 LOL! Yikes...

It's www.AirbnbListingAnalysis.com

Hey "Danny!"  🙂

I think it looks great.  And, I'm going to keep your emails for when I have an extra 50 bucks to do this, but right now, I can't.  But, if I have any issues with perfecting my listing, I just may ask for your assistance!  Thanks for the info, Danny.  I'll keep your info for future.

@Jill51 Please do! Although, this is an investment. After changes are made based on my anaysis, you WILL receive more reservations. So, $50 invested turnings into $1000+ of extra reservations (not to mention better reviews). I've been doing this for the past year and track each one 7 days after my analysis. Every single one saw an increase in reservations. I took a brief look at your listing and there are some major updates that should be made immediately. Send me your email and I'll do an analysis free of charge. I enjoy doing them anyways 🙂
