@Pam332 your question is how many hosts ask for a profile picture? I would say most, but not enough guests have it. I personally take the passport info for every guest staying and I report a temporary place of stay to the police station so although it would be nice to have a picture I wouldn't cancel their reservation if they don't have it. But for many hosts the picture is a way of identifying who is entering their home and I would say it is very important.

I don't care about a profile photo. My experience has shown me that it tells me nothing at all.

@Pam332 Just read this forum post. You will see how many complaints after Airbnb started no profile profile photo policy prior to confirmed booking.

Not only profile photo, I would like to get guest full name, residence city and state, age information as well. Now I have to ask these for all guests.
