income documention

New host earned $4000 last year. Do I have to claim as income? Does airbnb send any tax forms for that low of income? All help appreciated. thx!!!

@Ruthanne0 Airbnb no longer reports by 1099 all host income.  Instead, they have chosen to send 1099K's to those who have earned $20K and have 200 or more payouts.  That clearly is not you.

Having said that,  you are still required to report income as appropriate for your situation.  Airbnb  keeps a record of gross earnings, fees paid and net payouts.  These can be found under your Transaction History, then Earnings Summary.
